Psalm 30:2 – O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
Jesus once said, “They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:31-32). The hearers were a mixture of believers and nonbelievers. As believers, I hope we all know that we are dead without Christ. Nonbelievers either do not believe that they are sick, or they do not believe that Jesus Christ is able to save them. We must believe to receive healing. Thank God for the give of faith (Ephesians 2:8).
David poured his heart out in psalms to to the Lord. In joy and sadness, the poet king sang to God, the Rock of his Salvation. I encourage you to do the same. Take that extra step to write down your words to God.
Sing God’s praises, and cry out to the only One capable of healing you and raising you from the death of sin. Flee from sin, acknowledging Him as the Lord of your life, and He will hear your plea.
