A Prudent Man – Proverbs 14:15

Proverbs 14:15 – The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

How many of us believe lies?  I know.  It is an uncomfortable question.  Most of us at some time or another have fallen for the machinations of someone out to deceive.  The only thing that keeps us from being led astray more often is the Truth.

Someone with no understanding is easily duped, but if we are diligent to understand the facts available before we draw conclusions, then we can avoid most if not all calamitous decisions.  A healthy fear is a good place to start. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7).

When we put God in the driver’s seat of our lives while reading the Owner’s Manual (The Holy Bible), we are bound to enjoy blessings.  Bowing to God’s will leads to success in ways the world can barely imagine.  Just read the manual.
