From Mourning to Dancing – Psalm 30:11-12

Psalm 30:11-12 – Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

What a great God we serve! Not only did He speak the universe into magnificent existence with His Word, He cares for His children formed of the dust of the earth. Have you ever paused to consider these Truths? You should. They can change your life.

Jesus declared, “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4). Not only did God make a way of deliverance, He came Himself as the Incarnation of the Word, full of grace and truth, to bring that deliverance. Jesus Christ, born to save His people from their sins, did not simply bring a message or a plan for us to attempt. No. Nothing was left to chance. God’s Son accomplished our Salvation through His our Body.

Following that most amazing atoning sacrifice, Jesus then rose from the grave. He died for forgiveness, and He road for our justification sending the Holy Spirit to show us the Kingdom of God as an earnest payment on eternity. Because of Jesus, and Jesus alone, we can approach God. Wow.

Praise Him! Let you mourning be turned to gladness and dancing. Our God is great.
