Hebrews 13:6 – So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Do you ever get nervous or even scared? I think we can honestly that we have all felt nervous or fearful. Each day we venture out into the world to work, study, worship, and play. If we first arm and armor ourselves with the Word and Holy Spirit, we are better prepared for what the day might bring.
The world around us is often chaotic, confusing, and even violent. At times, we are caught up in this maelstrom, but we must remember that the Lord is still able to stand up in the midst of our lives and say, “Peace, be still” commanding the turbulence to cease. He is in control, and His Kingdom continues as He puts all resistance under His feet.
The Lord is the eternal Shepherd and Bishop of our souls stewarding them to the path of Life through the Spirit and Truth (1 Peter 2:25). He shall not fail. He rose from the grave to prove it.
