You were made for this… Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. – Ephesians 2:10

Meditation:  Have you ever wondered about your purpose in life?  I am not sure about you, but I have considered this question often.  Whatever your skill set, I can confidently say that you were made to glorify God.

How do I know this?  That is easy.  The Bible says so.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (Romans 15:5-6)

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1 Corinthians 6:20)

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. (1 Peter 2:11-12)

The reality of all believers is glory.  God created us to show His glory, and now believers are gathered together to be the bride of Christ, the Church.  The true Church of the Saints was created and lives to be presented by Christ to Himself without spot or wrinkle in the prime of life and holy (Ephesians 5:25-32).  We owe Him all, and for Him we live and move and have our being.

Call To Action:  As part of the bride of Christ, let all who trust in Jesus prepare for the One who loves us and gave Himself for us when yet we were dead in sin.  No greater honor will ever come your way than being part of the Church of Jesus Christ.  Be mindful of your place as bride of the King today.  No one can separate you from His love.  Let your good works reflect that love.
